Date: 2016-11-23 05:46 am (UTC)The petition is legitimate, but as it says, it's going to the Secretary of State for each of the states and the governors.
(I'm sorry about my tone; I wrote this comment too fast. I agree that the petition is a good thing, and frankly, every state should audit the vote in every election.)

Date: 2016-11-28 08:50 pm (UTC)On the other, the DOJ does have a Civil Rights Voting Section, which can be contacted here: 202-307-2767 or 1-800-253-3931 (option 5) (hattip to siderea on LJ), so they apparently do have a subdepartment that investigates issues related to voter fraud, though whether calling them matters is another issue.
